Animated example: a user types a short clinic shortcut such as .followup and it is replaced in place by the clinic's approved text, which the user then reviews.

Solutions

Three ways to take steps out of the day.

Start with the easiest win, then look at the workflows behind it. Each one is set up around your clinic — not a one-size-fits-all app.

Text & Dot-Phrase Automation

Turn frequently typed clinic text into shortcuts your team can use in seconds. Your clinic writes and approves the wording; staff trigger it and review it.

Try a shortcut

One-Click Scanning & Document Workflows

Simplify repetitive scanning and document-handling steps. Turn multi-step workflows — like scanning a colored document, naming it, and preparing it for the chart — into a much simpler process.

Set up and tested around your clinic's existing equipment and software.

Custom Workflow Automation

If your team performs the same computer task again and again, show us the workflow. We'll evaluate whether it can be simplified or automated around the way your clinic already works.

Try a shortcut.

You type a short shortcut; the full note is typed for you. Watch the examples, tap one to replay it, or click into the note and try your own. Your clinic writes and approves the real wording.

Customization

Built around your workflow — not the other way around.

You shouldn't have to rebuild your clinic around another piece of software. We start with the workflow you're already using.

Every clinic runs a little differently: different rooms, roles, equipment, and habits. We look at how your team works today, find the steps that repeat, and configure automation that fits — instead of asking staff to learn an entirely new way of working.

Automation that supports your team — not clinical decisions.

Efficient Everyday is workflow software for repetitive administrative and documentation tasks.

  • No diagnosis or treatment. It does not diagnose conditions, recommend treatment, or provide medical advice.
  • Your clinic stays in control. Clinics write, approve, and maintain their own templates and workflows.
  • People review the work. Users review inserted text and finished documents before anything enters the medical record.
  • Privacy-conscious by design. Workflows are designed to avoid storing patient identifiers unnecessarily.

How it works

A collaborative process, not a disruptive rollout.

  1. 1

    Show us the workflow

Walk us through the repetitive task — the clicks, the typing, the files, the workarounds.

  2. 2

    We identify the unnecessary steps

We evaluate whether software or automation can simplify it, and tell you plainly if it can't.

  3. 3

    We build around your clinic

Configure, test, train, and refine the workflow together with your team.

Where it started

Built because the repetitive work was obvious.

Efficient Everyday started inside the workflow — working in urgent care as a scribe and patient care technician.

Day after day, providers, scribes, medical assistants, and front-desk staff repeated the same documentation and computer tasks. Much of it could clearly be simpler. So we began building small solutions to remove unnecessary steps, one workflow at a time.

Those solutions became tools that can be adapted for other clinics too. The approach hasn't changed: find the repetitive work first, then make it simpler — without getting in the way of care.

FAQ

Common questions.

Does Efficient Everyday replace our EMR?

No. Efficient Everyday works around specific repetitive workflows. It is not intended to replace your EMR or any other clinical system.

Does the software make medical decisions?

No. Efficient Everyday is workflow software. It does not diagnose patients, recommend treatments, or replace clinical judgment.

Can we use our own dot phrases?

Yes. Your clinic writes, controls, and approves its own wording and workflows. We help set them up so your team can use them quickly.

Can you automate something other than text?

Potentially. We can evaluate repetitive scanning, file-handling, spreadsheet, and other computer workflows to see whether they can be simplified.

Will it work with our clinic's setup?

It depends on the workflow and your environment. The best next step is to show us the current workflow so we can evaluate it honestly.

How long is the demonstration?

About 20 minutes. We will show Efficient Everyday and talk through one or two repetitive workflows your team deals with.

Do we need to change our entire workflow?

The goal is the opposite. We look for repetitive steps inside the workflow you already use and simplify them where it is practical.

20-Minute Clinic Workflow Demo
